FOUNDER & HEAD OF CHAMBERS, HON. SAMSON KWAKU BOAFO
The firm was founded by Hon. S.K. Boafo, who has a wealth of experience both at the Ghana Bar and also at the Bar of England and Wales where among others, he was once a Crown Prosecutor.
He has over 45 years experience as a lawyer. Between 2001 and 2008, he was the Ashanti Regional Minister and Minister for Chieftaincy and Culture. He returned to practice in January 2009 and since, has among other things, been a mediator for the National Labour Commission. He has served as the National Secretary of the Ghana Bar Association from 1982 to 1985.
He is the current Chairman of the Minerals Commission. He has represented a lot of high-end Clients and done cases pro bono. He has served on several governing boards and has attended numerous conferences both as a speaker and participant. He is the Head of Chambers of the law firm.
SENIOR PARTNER, YAW ACHEAMPONG BOAFO
Yaw Acheampong Boafo is the Partner in charge of the Kumasi office. He joined the firm in 1995 after being called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1994 and enrolled on the Roll of Lawyers in 1995. Under his leadership the firm has grown from a two-man firm to a firm of 24 lawyers in both Kumasi and Accra offices.
He has 25 years’ experience as a Lawyer and his area of specialization is commercial practice, civil litigation, land matters and administration of estates. He has a wealth of experience in handling diverse commercial cases having dealt extensively with a variety of commercial and corporate clients. He has served as the President of the Ashanti Region Branch of the Ghana Bar Association and also a member of the General Legal Council from 2013 to 2016.
Since January 2013 he has been a member of the Legal Service Board representing the Ghana Bar Association and was the Head of the Legal Department of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club. He is currently the National Secretary of the Ghana Bar Association
SENIOR PARTNER, DAVID K.A. BOAFO
David K.A. Boafo is A Senior Partner and in charge of the Accra Office. Enrolled on the Roll of Lawyers in 2000, he has considerable experience in Commercial litigation and practice.
He has advised and represented Clients in many high-end projects in the Construction, Real Estate, Property and Renewable Energy sectors. He also has vast experience in Land tenure rights and has worked with MIDA, World Bank, International NGOs, the Lands Commission, and various Traditional Authorities.
He has handled a lot of commercial cases and sits on several boards both local and international.
